Dani Navarro out of Giro d'Italia Team KATUSHA ALPECIN’s Spanish rider Dani Navarro crashed heavily at 6 km from the finish of stage 4 of the 2019 Giro d’Italia. Navarro was transported to the hospital of Tor Vergata in Rome, where he was diagnosed with multiple fractures. Dani Navarro broke his right collarbone as well as three ribs. The ribs perforated the lungs and he suffers a lung contusion with a hemothorax with hemoptysis and a pneumothorax at the top and the back of the lung.
