Remco Evenepoel (Belgium) wins Men Junior Individual Time Trial at the 2018 UCI Road World Championships Innsbruck-Tirol in Austria The podium is completed by Lucas Plapp (Australia) and Andrea Piccolo (Italy). The Belgian rider Remco Evenepoel won the Men Junior Individual Time Trial race at the 2018 UCI Road World Championships Innsbruck-Tirol in Austria. Lucas Plapp (Australia) and Andrea Piccolo (Italy) finished second and third respectively. RESULTS 1 – Remco Evenepoel - 27.7km in 33’15.24”, average speed 49.979km/h 2 – Lucas Plapp at 1’23.66” 3 – Andrea Piccolo at 1’37.62” Speaking seconds after the race the winner Remco Evenepoel said: “This was my main goal. I really wanted to win this title. It’s the most important for me. I also wanted to win for Belgium. It’s emotional to do it for Igor [Decraene] who won this race five years ago and is no longer with us.
