The Belgian rider Remco Evenepoel won the Men Junior Individual Time Trial race at the 2018 UCI Road World Championships Innsbruck-Tirol in Austria. Lucas Plapp (Australia) and Andrea Piccolo (Italy) finished second and third respectively. RESULTS 1 – Remco Evenepoel - 27.7km in 33’15.24”, average speed 49.979km/h 2 – Lucas Plapp at 1’23.66” 3 – Andrea Piccolo at 1’37.62” Speaking seconds after the race the winner Remco Evenepoel said: “This was my main goal. I really wanted to win this title. It’s the most important for me. I also wanted to win for Belgium. It’s emotional to do it for Igor [Decraene] who won this race five years ago and is no longer with us.
